"This
sounds great. I've copied one classmate and I'll try
to think of others." Jim
Carr (Class of 1968)
"I
live in Northern California but, I'm coming!!!! It'll
be a blast to see everyone after 40 years. I can't believe
the Knightsmen got back together and are playing again.
I can't miss hearing them. My husband Martin can't come,
but I'm coming and bringing my 19 year old daughter Cara.
She's never been to Indianapolis so I'm going to give
her the grand tour." Hope
(Levitt) Frye (Class of 1968)
"Becky
Arvin sent me your website in regard to the 1968-1969
reunions. I am a '68 grad. I
now live in Texas and am not certain I will be able to
travel
to Indiana in July. I would, however,
like to be put on any mailing lists so I can keep abreast
of developments. My brother, Jerry Fifer, was in the class
of '69, so I will tell him about it and I'm sure he can contact
some other alums. Regardless of my attendance status, I hope
this will be a well attended success. If I am not there,
please tell everyone
that I haven't changed a bit in 40 years :)" Dianna
(FIFER) Wallace (Class of 1968)
"Thanks
for the contact and I will be ordering my tickets soon." Kelly
M. Barnes (Class of 1968)
"Hi
Dave. If any graduates live in the Boca Raton
area, please let me know. Thanks so much for your work
on the reunion." Denise A.
Wells (Class of 1969)
"Hello. My address is in West Palm Beach, Florida.
I do plan to come, and will
try and contact others that I know." Steve
Russell (Class of 1968)
"Nice
website. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend
the reunion because I have a family reunion in San Diego
the same weekend. It sounds like it will be great. My
information hasn't changed since our last reunion - still
married, 2 kids, same house, etc." Mary
Linzer (Class of 1969)
"We
got your voicemail today about the reunion. Thanks for
calling. We'll check our calendars." Becky
(Pearce) Blue (Class of 1969)
"Yikes….
40 years….seems like yesterday.
The only (LOST) people I know of, you already have on your “FOUND” list.
If I run across anyone, I’ll let you know. Let me know
what type of assistance you need and I’ll
try to help out." Cecilia (Sickert)
Overshiner
"The
reunion sounds like fun. Patty and I will try to attend." Rocky
Turner (Class of 1968) - Patty (Witthoft) Turner (Class
of 1969)
"It
looks like someone has worked hard on this reunion website!
It really looks good and I think it functions well.
I have 3-4 (LOST) names (maybe more) I can add to the
(FOUND)
list. I got a big kick out of being labeled "FOUND".
I try really hard to be lost! Richard
Hindman (Class of 1968)
"Great
job on the website!" Gary
Irwin (Class of 1969)
"Good
luck with your reunion. I hope you have a great turnout." Patty
Villars (Class of 1970)
"Hello.......my
name is Rita Kraus.......currently married to Richard
...38 years...2 children...1 grandchild...live in
Lexington
Kentucky. We are planning on attending the reunion. Rita
(Overton) Kraus (Class of 1968)
"Hi.
I wanted everone to know I live in Casselberry,
Florida. I have two grown daughters; Amy Wilder 36 an
RN and Kristy Hill 34 a Sgt. with our Sheriffs Dept.
and 2 granddaughters Kyla & Ashley Wilder... I doubt
if I can attend the reunion. I was up for the 20th
and had a great time, but this time it is not feasable" Linda
(Washburn) Carroll (Class of 1968)
"Boy
has it been a long time! I was suprised when I received
the e-mail about the reunion. Before it desolved - some
time ago I worked as a Dispatcher for Castleton Police
Dept. I am still in Indy and I had been employed with
2 School Districts for 17 years. Now I am employed
in the insurance field just waiting for retirement!
Ha! My son Ryan is married to his high school sweetheart and has 3 boys.
He is in the military - the Marines. He has been to Somolia
and was there about
the time the movie "Blackhawk Down" was going on, and hasbeen
to Iraq twice. Returned home from Iraq (2nd tour) a little over a year ago.
He does
the helicopter thing. Brother Randy has resided in Puerto Rico the past
10 years. He's been in the restaurant business since
leaving college. He has his own Bistro
Restaurant
on the main drag where all the cruise liners dock and is married to a
wonderful gal from there. His wife has her own travel
agency with I think 5-6 cruise
lines. In fact my older brother also lives there and has been in the same
business but left that to work an large Investment Company." Beckie
(Bultman) Furgason (Class of 1969)
"The
reunion party sounds really great so I will be buying
my ticket soon. Recently divorced, I have resumed my
maiden name." Tisha LeMaster
(Class of 1969)
"Hope
everyone enjoys the reunion and has a blast. Sorry,
but we won't be able to make it this year. By the way
we will be married for 39 years 6/20/2008, and have one
daughter and two granddaughters." Gene
Hugar & Brenda (Davy) Hugar (Class of 1969)
"Unfortunately,
the Kennedy brothers (Charlie - Class of 68) and (Russ
-Class of 69) will be unable to attend. They will be
in Nashville, Tennessee for the marriage of Charlie's
youngest son, Ward. We send our regrets, while our classmates
send their appreciation for our lack of attendance. :)
All the best to all of the Golden
Knights" Charlie Kennedy (Class
of 1968), Russ Kennedy (Class
of 1969)
" I
am from the Class of 1969. I don't think I've ever been "lost".
I've been living in Indianapolis/Beech Grove/Greenwood
for the
last 40 years or so, except for the time when I was in
the Navy.
Good to hear about the reunion. I'll certainly try to
attend. I saw several people on the list that I would
like to get
in touch with, unfortunately I've rarely seen any classmates
over the years. Hope to see you in July. BTW, I really
like your web site. It sure brought back some nice memories." Ray
Thiesing (Class of 1969)
"I
found your website doing a Google search and have included
my contact info." John Weinhardt
(Class of 1968)
"Very
nice website. I received the link from John Weinhardt
(1968). There are two additions to
your listings for deceased classmates...Don MacMillan
(1968) and Darrell Clodfelter (1968) whose name is
on the Vietnam Memorial here in Washington, D.C. is included
in the attachment. You may recall that his father taught
math at AHS. As a retired Marine officer, I believe it
might be appropriate / informational to include an addition
on the website
for those who served." Paul
Freeberg (Class of 1968)

"Hello.
Mark Vaughan forwarded me information about the reunion.
A
great idea. I'm in." Tom
Newby (Class of 1968)
"Hi
. . . How in the world has it been 40 years since we
attended AHS?? I have lived in Indianapolis my entire
life, for the past 21 years up in the Geist area. Really,
the only high school classmate that I've stayed in touch
with is my best friend from childhood, Jack Ridpath.
Thank God for name badges, since I'm the only person
who looks exactly the same as I did in high school. The
reunion website is terrific, with the only negative being
the sadness I feel for our departed classmates. I retired
10 years ago after selling a couple of start-up printing
companies and now spend my time playing a whole
lot of golf and traveling with my wife of 26 years, Pam.
We have 2 boys, Brian and Bob, ages 24 and 22 respectively.
Brian just graduated last year from Purdue and works
for a great company called Bowen Engineering, over in
Fishers. Bob is a senior at Purdue.
I certainly wish the best for everyone and will do my
best to attend the reunion. If not, I will certainly
enjoy "catching up" through this wonderful
website. Thanks to all for the time being devoted to
this project." Bruce Black
(Class of 1968)
"I
am so glad you called to inform me about the class
reunion. I was not informed of the previous reunions
and sorry that I did not attend. I look forward to
seeing everyone and assisting in anyway possible.
You know we are not getting any younger and this will
be
a great way to catch up with everyones life adventures." Darlene
(Cissna) Sidebottom (Class of 1968)
"Hi.
I'm Cheryl (Sheri ) Jeffries, class of 1968. I’m lost just
living in San Diego , Ca. I fly back to Indy once or
twice a year. The reunion sounds like fun." Cheryl
(Sheri) Jeffries (class of 1968)
"I
hope to be able to attend and I hope
your reunion is a success. Please keep me informed!" Susan
(Valdez) Erwin (Class of 1968)
"Sounds
great! It will great to see everyone again. 40 years!?
Who would have thought? Looking forward to the reunion.
Thanks for putting it together." Fred
Wyant (Class of 1968)
"I
am responding to your voice mail message from Friday,
March 7th in search of my husband, Jim Price (Class of
1968). Unfortunately, Jim passed away in November 2003
following a brief battle with lung cancer. It was ironic
that your message came on Jim's birthday. Best wishes
for a successful reunion." Rosemary
Price
"We
are still
living in New Palestine and are planning
on attending the reunion in July. Please let us know
if there is anything we can help with. J.
D. Foley (Class of 1969)
"This
is sooooooooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!! I'm including my contact
info and I will order tickets shortly… I want to
first see if a friend wants to come along. This
freaks me out….thanks!!" Judy Spray (Class
of 1968)
"Glad
to hear from you. I
got the phone message the other day about the AHS reunion.
Thank you so much for all the work done to get this event
organized. I peeked at the website. It's terrific! I'm
going to try to schedule my annual summer Indianapolis
trip around the July 5th reunion date. I'd love to get
there to see old friends and meet new ones." Linda
(Moss) Rusthoven (Class of 1968)
"Glad
to hear about our reunion. I missed the last one. I have
five grown children
and six grandchildren. For the last 10 years, I have
been teaching English at Warsaw Community High School.
I have been divorced for five years. This year marks
the 40th anniversary of my AFS student exchange to
Natal, Brazil. Since my exchange brother's daughter spent
the
year with us in 1995-96, I have returned each year
(sometimes 3 trips in the year) to see my family. All
of my children
have spent time in Natal, and this past Christmas the
third generation met in Florida. While the grandchildren
could not communicate with each other through language,
they could play Uno. I am looking forward to reconnecting
with fellow classmates." Karen
(Wilkes) Patrick (Class of 1969)
"I
have been found, it seems. My information is as follows:
Live in Chicago
Married to Carolyn
Daughters Abby (20) and Madeline(17)
Work as a Quality Improvement Director for Social Service
Agency
Wife is a clinical social worker
Not able to attend
Thanks
for your efforts. I hope all have a great time. "
Allen Hall (Class of 1968)
"Hi,
thanks for the call. I won't be able to attend. If anyone
remembers me tell
them I'm alive and well in Tucson, AZ." Tom
Beall (Class of 1968)
"Greetings
from LaPorte in northwest Indiana. My folks moved here
shortly after I left for Illinois State in the Fall of
'68. Thanksgiving break meant a new house, a new town,
and snow everyday!
In June of '69, I left Illinois State and worked for a year. I met my husband,
Steve, and attended Purdue North Central. Following our marriage in 1972, we
spent our senior year in West Lafayette. Imagine my surprise to find Steve Apple
and Carl Carr still competing for senior class president at Purdue (1973.)
After graduation, we returned to LaPorte where my husband began farming the family
farm. As a social worker at a treatment center for juvenile offenders, I worked
until our daughter, Amber, was born in 1974. Our son, Matt, was born the following
year.
In the late 70's and early 80's, as a "stay-at-home mom," I was active
in my church, the American Association of University Women, LaPorte's Christian
Women's Club, LaPorte's Little Theatre Club, a member of LaPorte's Symphony Board,
and a member of several community choirs.
It was then back to Purdue to get a teaching license and a master's degree in
education. I was an English/Alternative Education teacher at LaPorte High School,
and taught with former AHS Spanish teacher, Jane Hocker Tapscott Gabbert. I quit
teaching in 1994. It was time to do other things with my life.
Steve and I had a great time at the 20th reunion in 1988. I believe I was the
only pregnant returning classmate to attend the reunion. Our youngest son, Dave,
was born the following January.
We live on the Watson homestead, "Idlewild," which has been farmed
by Watsons for over a 150 years. They raise cash crops and Black Angus cattle.
My husband not only farms full time, but he is also an independent contractor
for industrial safety glasses, and a professional musician.
Our daughter, Amber is a pharmacy technician and the mother of two middle school
students. We are proud of her recent decision to attend Purdue and further her
education. An ex-Marine, our son, Matt is employed by the LaPorte Sheriff's Department.
In September, he married a wonderful girl who had children from a previous marriage,
giving us four more grandchildren. Their number five is due in the Fall. Our
youngest, Dave, is a freshman at Purdue, and we are finally learning to be "empty-nesters."
Besides staying home and keeping the guys on track, I'm still quite active in
my church. I also enjoy genealogy, PBS, and a number of assorted hobbies.
We get back to Indianapolis occasionally, and I always remember my friends at
Arlington. It was an excellent school, and I have fond memories of my time there.
I'd love to hear from my former classmates. I can be reached at idlewild1854@verizon.net." Kristi
(Hull) Watson (Class of 1968)
"Thanks
for the phone call. My husband and I are planning to
come. Lance & I live in North Manchester--about 35
miles SW of Fort Wayne. We married in 1999 and between
us have 9 children
and 8 1/2 grandchildren ranging from 21 years to 3 months
and one on the way! I work for Harting Furniture as I have
for 25 years; do sales, bookkeeping and general whatever!
Will be in touch!" Glenda (Hansen)
Christiansen (Class of 1968)
"What
fun...an Awesome site and I love the pictures.....WOW..memories
flooded back ~ Super Pictures of Indianapolis and "places" that
I would have forgotten. I sincerely appreciate the time
and effort. I am unsure at this point if I will be able
to come to the reunion....But I will try." Jill
(Guthrie) Keough (Class of 1968)
"This
is great. I am planning to attend. I live just north
of Oakland, California and serve on the pastoral staff
of
my church. See you in July." Mike
Kaiser (Class of 1968)
"Looking
forward to the reunion. Has it really been 2o years since
the last one?!?" Sharon (Sims)
Knowles (Class of 1968)
"Hey,
I just purchased my ticket online, to the reunioni. I'm
T.D. Doran, or Tania D. Doran. My professional name is
Tania D. Frederick, which was my married name until 2
1/2 years
ago. I'm a family nurse practitioner, working in a
family practice, in Nashville Indiana, where I've live
for the past
27 years. I'm divorced, and live w/ my dogs and cats
and the great outdoors. I'm an avid trailrunner and love
to travel
out west as much as I can. My dogs go with me nearly
where ever I go." Tania Doran (Class
of 1969)
"My
cousin Steve told me about the class reunion you guys
are planning July 5 while I was in Indy for Mother’s
day. Please count me in, as I am planning on attending
(coming from Lake Oswego, Oregon). It will be great seeing
everyone again. I will purchase my tickets online as
soon as I am done
here.
Thanks for
the great job being done in putting this reunion together.
I am looking forward to being
there." Mike Ketthley (Class of 1968)
"I
just found the reunion site. So we are finally having
another. Feel free to pass out my contact info. If I'm
not working in Arkansas I'll be there. Mark Vaughn looks
older than he
did 20 years ago. He was the 1st to say hello back then.
Thanks." Mark Taylor (Class
of 1968)
"I
was hoping that someone was putting together a reunion
this year. I kept checking the IPS web site for info
and couldn’t find any. After some more searching
I found the reunion website. Great job. Anyway, my wife
and I are planning to attend. See you
in
July!!!" Jim Morgan (Class

"Greetings
Class Mates!! Where has time gone? It seems like a hundred
years ago that we graduated from the Halls of Arlington.
Like all of you, my life has been an amazing ride. I
went to college, got married, and had the required 2 children, who did the usual
thing and grew up, went to college and have a life all thier own. I have owned
and managed a small kitchen and cabinet business in Ohio for 26 years. But my
real passion is photography and travel. I fly a Powered Parachute and do aerial
photography. Recently I did some areial photography in
southern Utah
in the mountains near Hurricane Utah. It was amazing,
with beautiful red rock mountain walls.
Photography has also taken me to Kenya, London as well as Holland. Very soon
I plan on retiring from the cabinet business so I can dedicate more time to the
photography.
My parents live south of Indy, so I get back to the spawning growns often. Has
anyone heard anything from the music director Ralph Horine? He was alway a strict
instuctor, and I often wondered if he was still around. I was amazed how he was
able to take a bunch of green kids and train them to make such wonderful music.
I remember being in the concert chior, and the music of "The Three Hungarian
Folk Songs" and "John Brown". Ah such memories. I wish I could
be there for the reunion, but there is a wedding that same day that I must attend.
I would like to hear from some of you Golden Knights. My email address is: DanRossEmail@yahoo.com " Dan
Ross (Class of 1969)
"I'm
not sure I can make it back to Indiana for the reunion
- but I thought I'd at least let you know where I am
and what I've been up to. I currently live in Albuquerque,
NM where I have a software development firm specializing
in modeling, visualization
and simulation of complex systems for scientists and
engineers. I've been married for 38 years to my wife
Anne. We have one son, Ken, 35, who lives in Illinois
with his wife Robyn. I have a one year old grandson,
Ian and a 14 year old step-granddaughter Hope." Ken
Lloyd (Class of 1968)
"Hi.
I just got your postcard regarding the 40th ahs class
reunion.
It is just terrible hard to believe that it
has been 40 years since we left the hallways of Arlington
High School. I currently live in Tigard, OR and will
not be able to get away for the class reunion. After
I graduated from AHS, I attended Ball State University
and obtained a BSN in nursing. I had enlisted in the
Army during that last 2 years of school and was in the
Army Nurse Corps for the next 4 years. During that time
I lived and worked in Atlanta, GA and was stationed at
Ft McPherson. The army then proceeded to provide me with
extensive critical care training at Ft Sam Houston in
San Antonio, TX. After school there I was stationed at
one of the most beautiful places in the states, at Ft.
Ord, CA in Monterey, CA. After leaving the Army, I lived
and worked for 2 years in LA at Cedars Sinai. But, after
2 years, the southern CA traffic and high rent send me
north to Portland, OR where I have been for the last
29 years. . I currently work in the ICU at Providence
St. Vincent in Portland, OR. I have work here since arriving
in Portland, but have had a couple of different positions
over the years, but have now returned to critical care
nursing, which is my greatest joy in the nursing profession.
I was able to attend the 1969 35th class reunion (or
was in the 30th), and it was a blast. I am sorry that
I won’t be able to attend this one." Charlene
Ferger (Class of 1969)
"Hello.
Thought I'd update my info. I checked out the web site
- nice, fun, kind of nice to walk down memory lane. I
graduated in 1969, and most of the people I hung out
with in high school are "missing" or "lost".
A lot of my friends were shipped off to John Marshall
High School after it was built to handle the over crowding
of AHS. I remember 3800 students cramming into the school. Turns
out I work with one of the Knightsmen at Noble of Indiana
where I have worked for 11 years. My high school years weren't
the most memorable ones for me and after I left for Vincennes
University in Sept of 69 - I lost touch with all the people
I thought I couldn't live without.
I am rambling on, sorry. I am unable to attend
the reunion as we have a family reunion on that 4th of July
holiday in Michigan. My husband of 9 years and I have attended
our family reunion every year at this time.
For the record - I only went to college 43 hours; have 2
children - Jennifier age 36 soon to be 37 who lives in New
Jersey and has 4 children & my son Jeremy 31 years old
who lives on the west side of Indy and spends all his time
away from being a most excellend auto technician sky diving!
I married a total of 3 times, children from the first marriage
only. Hitchhiked all over America and lived in Jamacia for
about 5 months; lived in New Mexico 17 years; survived an
abusive marriage; worked as a substitute teacher, gas station
attendant, cleaned hotel rooms, cleaned houses, been an Administrative
Assistant for 28 years; spent 20 years in a religious cult;
was strung out on drugs; I'm a registered republican; an
extremely concerned citizen; a cat lover; and am very gifted
at making people smile. I am currently living in Carmel,
been back in Indiana since July of 1990.
Maybe someday I will attend a reunion-but not yet. There
are so many people I have wondered about and apparently you
all have too because they are not on the "found list".
To contact me - feel free to use my e-mail - bethsloansills@sbcglobal.net That
is the best way to reach me. Please accept my regrets
for not attending. But keep my e-mail address around and
keep me posted of future events especially
if there is just a reunion for the 528 of us who graduated
in 1969 and we'll have to include the ones who sent to John
Marshall High School.
Thank you." Beth Sloan-Sills
(Class of 1969)
"Hi.
I am presently living in Sandia Park, New Mexico. Sandia
Park is just east of Albuquerque, in the same county.
Hope somebody remembers me, but it was a large
class." Vicki
Lee (McCoy) Fisher (Class of 1968)
"After
high school, I went to college in Bloomington with a
Radio-TV (now Telecommunications) major. Had a stint
as a radio news guy in Madison IN, then returned to Bloomington
where I became one of those hangers-on who goes to school
there then never goes away, and survives with whatever
stupid job is available. For me, the stupid jobs were
the unemployment office and post office.
After the stupidity of those jobs got unbearable I decided
I needed to go back to school. That meant law school,
as it did not require any understanding of math or science.
I did it, graduated, passed the bar, and the jobs since
then have been much better. No more stupidity. I now
work for a judge on the state court of appeals and I
teach a course at the IU-Indianapolis law school. In
my free time I am trying to see the world, bit by bit,
and am making pretty good progress if I say so myself.
Immediately after my students hand in their last assignment
each semester, I am gone somewhere. So life is good.
In many ways, the best it's ever been. " Tom
Newby (Class of 1968)
"Hi.
I'm sorry I can't come to the reunion but would like
to get any info I can and any pictures
people are willing to send. I live in Arizona, have 2
sons and 4 grandchildren. My email address is peacemaker@wmonline.com" Laura
(Williams) Yost (Class of 1968)
"Hi!
My oldest daughter, Stefanie, who works for BP as a geologist
in Houston , was looking at her high school website,
and noticed that 1968 was having a 40 year reunion. She
started surfing, and came up with the Arlington website,
and called me immediately. Since she is flying home for
the 4th (to us in Lancaster County Pennsylvania), I can’t
do a quick trip to Indy and leave her at the airport
(a bit gauche dontcha think?). However, my thoughts and
prayers will be with everyone. I found it really cool
that such a large number of my “ Daniel T Weir
School #71” compadres are on the “found” list.
Well, I live in Landisville , PA , with my husband, Dave
Dilts (Lawrence Central 1967). I am the controller of a temporary
staffing company, and my husband & I own a carpet cleaning
company that we started when Dave left the environmental
engineering field. We have 2
daughters, Stef & Katie, 26 & 24, and a son Dan,
23. Jack the cockapoo is 3. Life is good!" JoAnn
(Kern) Dilts (Class
of 1968)
"I'm
sorry I will not be at the class reunion. I will be in
the week before. I am married and have 2 kids a boy
and a girl. I moved to Pa in 1984. I wish everyone well.
Have a wonderful
time." Cindy (McKerlie) Roberts (Class of 1968)
"Hey
everyone: Sorry I'll miss the reunion - sure had a blast
at our 20th. For the past 12 years I've been here in
sunny Florida residing in Dade City - about an hour from
Tampa - I'm employed by the City of Pinellas Park and
am an Independent Consultant with Partylite, Inc. I have
two step-sons Mike & Chris and 3 step-grandchildren;
Melanie (16) Mike,jr (13) and Shelby (2). In 2001 I lost
my daughter Shelby at the tender age of 16 due to a car
accident on her way to school, but all in all life has
been good and have been in touch with several "lost" friends
that thanks to this wonderful website I have found again.
Feel free to get in touch with me thru my e-mail angel-lites@hotmail.com
- I'd love to hear from all my girl-scout buddies." Dorothy
Jan (Rose) Keely (Class of 1968)
"The
website is really awesome and everyone has done a great
job on finding classmates! I had so looked forward to
attending this reunion and truly regret not being able
to see everyone. I did attend the 1967 AHS 40th Reunion
last year and it was just fantastic seeing all those
folks. My nephew is getting married in Chicago on the
5th of July, and I will not be able to attend. I live
in Greenfield, Indiana and am a Real Estate Broker with
Carpenter Realtors. My husband and I have 8 children
between us, 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
We are into RVing and traveling. My email is kateanne45@yahoo.com
and I'd love to hear from you." Kathy
(Dover) Hill-Groves (Class of 1968)
"I
cannot attend the reunion, but thanks for all your
hard work. Currently speech/language pathologist at Garfield
Elementary School (76% poverty rate) in M uncie Indiana.
I love
my school and my job. I came to Ball State in 1968 and
never had the desire to move back to Indy. I married
the love of my life,
Fred Hitz (BSU '69), and we have been married 37 years.
Our daughter Erin is 33, and son Ryan is 30. We're expecting
our first grandchild in August. I adore flowers and working
outdoors, children and their laughter, and Jesus (not
in that order) :)"

A few years ago, my husband and I were listening to an
Oldies
station and there was an announcement for a 40th High School class reunion. My
immediate thought was,"Wow, those people are really old!" A moment
later,
reality set in and I turned to Dan and said in horror,"Do
you realize that in 3 years, it will be our 40th?!!" Then I figured that
our class probably would not have a reunion so I put it out of my mind
and fought back the thoughts of approaching "old age"! Thanks, Dave
Lee, for bringing me back to reality!!
Now for the info part:
My husband, Dan Dro, and I have been married for 36 1/2 years and have lived in
Carmel in the same house for 28 years. Neither one of us
likes change!! We have 3 children: Daniel, 30 (married to April) with 1 son (6).
They live in Noblesville, so I get to spend plenty of time with my favorite grandson,
Kaden. Dan is the large account manager for Brightpoint in Plainfield. Rob, 28,
just got married in April to Laura. They live in Chicago and he is a senior financial
analyst for Quaker Oats.
Celeste, 23, (my baby) graduated in December from IU with 2 degrees; the first in
Fashion Design and Construction and the second in Apparel
Merchandising. She is working for Kohl's Department Store at their headquarters
in
Milwaukee in product development. I was very lucky to be a full time Mom, "taxi" driver,
and PTO volunteer while my kids were growing up. They were great years, but now
I find myself with lots of time on my hands. I play tennis and golf and I enjoy
learning new things on the computer. My latest passion is creating slideshows.
My goal is to get all of the hundreds of pictures of the kids onto DVDs and maybe
doing special event slideshows as a small business. I hope lots of classmates
are planning on coming and I sure hope we have name tags! I don't know about
you,
but I have trouble remembering somebody's name that I met 10 minutes ago!
Thanks again to Dave and the other organizers for the great website
and for getting a reunion put together." Terri (Hartley) Dro

"Hi. A friend just told me about the reunion. We won’t
be able to come, but I think it is great that you are organizing
it. The website looks groovy!" (Jones)

"Awesome
job on the website! So many names and blasts from the
past! Would love to reconnect with classmates and catch
up, but unfortunately (at least for us!!) we are unable
to attend. If anyone has a few minutes, we would
love to hear from you (email: tlloveall@hotmail.com). "
